Eric Cummings

Eric Cummings, Production Chef, enjoys the distinction of having opened Sapphire Laguna with Chef Azmin in 2007. His culinary background in Orange County is deep and varied, having begun with a degree in culinary arts from Orange Coast College. His positions as cook with the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and San Juan Capistrano’s beloved Ramos House Café led to roles at the former St. Regis Monarch Beach as Chef Garde Manger and Chef de Cuisine for the resort’s restaurant, Motif. Add to this his experience as a kitchen manager for multinational chain The Cheesecake Factory, and Chef Eric was perfectly poised to return to Sapphire Culinary Group in 2011 to assume his role as production chef for Sapphire Catering.
